Alzheimer's disease

INM176, a natural substance co-developed by Hallym University and Scigenic, has gone through various tests including pre-clinical and clinical trials.
Tests conducted by the Korean Research Institute of Chemical Technology and a FDA certified institute confirm its safety.

Above all, clincial trials with 120 volunteers conducted by Samsung Seoul Medical Centre reaffirmed INM176's safety and medical efficacy for Alzheimer's disease.
On April 22nd, 2002, INM176 was granted a patent by the Office of Patent Adminstration, Korea as a new compound for prevention and cure of Alzheimer's disease.

The PCT application is in progress. An application for a new Alzheimer medicine to the Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) will be made in the first half of 2003.
